The Avenue Hits the Streets
Leading sign trade supplier Signscape Systems have just launched their brand new range of Avenue Poster Cases.
Used throughout the retail, leisure, and education sectors, not to mention in most local authority spaces, poster cases are continuing to be a top choice for sign-makers when it comes to affordable information display. Where others have ventured, Signscape have taken a much greater leap with the Avenue, which claims to ‘maintain what the market already trusts, whilst providing more for less’.
The Avenue has been specifically designed with the sign-maker in mind. Jeremy Reeves, Technical Director, explains; “We saw space in the market for a reliable and robust poster case, one which excelled in external conditions. Several sign-makers had approached us looking for a product that could out-perform what was currently available. In the Avenue, we have developed a product that offers not only superior weather resistance, but also a range, that we believe, can fulfil most poster case applications”.
Signscape started developing this product back in the summer of 2011, after repeated calls from customers to add a work-horse poster case to its premium Lynester noticeboard and other sign and display solutions. Hamish Paterson, Signscape Managing Director at the time said, “The Avenue seems to have been in development for a long time, but we wanted to make sure we got it right in terms of the design, and in understanding what sign-makers would really want from a poster case range. Working alongside Jeremy and several sign-making customers has definitely helped us to understand this better, and we believe this case will be very popular”.
Signscape claim the Avenue provides a new benchmark for the exterior poster case, with a ‘weight-saving design, which allows for easier installation’, and a ‘user-friendly locking system’ added to its enhanced weather protection.
At a suitably slim 40mm deep, the Avenue Range covers the 8 most popular poster sizes in both portrait and landscape and comes with a choice of either a magnetic back insert, which is best for displaying multiple displays, or correx insert complete with poster clips, for single-front poster mounting. It is available wall, rail or post mounted and has a range of optional extras including shaped aluminium headers and backing panels.
With the merge of Signscape and fellow sign-making supplier Signconex Ltd back in October 2011 now firmly bedded in, Signscape are certainly going places. The launch of the Avenue comes at a time when all of us are looking to get more for less, and if the prices we’ve seen are right, the Avenue is well placed to be a big hit.
