Solution

SASL and 442 Design worked closely to find an innovative wayfinding solution; initially meeting on site to discuss the options available, product proposals and costings. SASL delivered the project from design to installation.

A key challenge was to ensure that the specialist paving was not damaged during the installation process and that all surfaces were left in pristine condition. This was achieved by precision groundwork and using solid floor construction bases for the signs.

Working within strict timescales and via on-site permits, SASL’s highly skilled installation teams ensured minimal disturbance to local residents and retail outlets in this prestigious area.

Products

Requiring a premium and contemporary wayfinding system, SASL’s Waypoint Fingerpost system was selected by the client for its design, highly robust qualities and its precision styling. The system has been designed to sit comfortably alongside modern street furniture and also benefits from having seamless joints and sockets. It also has concealed fixings for added security and this specification included a bespoke ground sleeve system to complement the solid ground installation.

Outcome

SASL worked closely with 442 Design Ltd to deliver an innovative and contemporary wayfinding system for this illustrious area of London, within strict timescales and within budget.
