Signscape and Signconex has been a leading producer of sign systems, notice boards, letter boards and other information displays since 1973. Based in Bristol, we serve customers all over the world. All of our products are designed and manufactured in-house using quality materials and processes, including our own proprietary extrusions.
We offer the widest range of signs systems and notice boards in the UK and specialise in tailoring signs to suit different locations. We have the expertise and experience to deliver any scale of sign, wayfinding or notice board schemes including non-standard and bespoke designs. We’re a long-standing supplier to the UK and worldwide sign trade.
As well as our full sign build service, our modular wayfinding sign systems are also available in bar length and component form if required. We have our own semi-automatic powder-coating facility with conveyor assisted curing oven, which allows us to control a premium paint finish. We promote our products effectively through our trade customers by supplying them with our unbranded brochures and photograph library.
Signscape and Signconex merged in 2011 to offer a broader product range to our customers.
The two companies were formally combined in to Signscape and Signconex Ltd in December 2013. Bristol based Signscape Systems Ltd (previously Signfix – established in 1973) were manufacturing commercial sign and display systems. Bury based Signconex Ltd (previously Signco – established 1973) were manufacturing notice boards, menu cases and letter boards. Together we offer our customers talent, expertise and experience across all areas of sign, information display and wayfinding manufacture.

Our team, including those too modest to appear here, have collectively over 130 years of sign and notice board industry knowledge and experience to ensure exceptional service at every stage from initial enquiry to delivered order.
Matt ClappSales Team Leader
Matt oversees our sales team as well as organising our administrative procedures. He also takes the lead in our customer service department to ensure any post-delivery queries are settled. Matt has the experience to help customers determine the best solution for their project. He also takes the lead in utilising customer’s logos and graphics, and printed whiteboard designs and is the first to go-to when PC systems or programs misbehave.
Stacey KnightSales Team
Stacey is a key member of our sales team having studied Chemical Engineering at University, she has enjoyed customer facing roles ever since. She has a passion for sales and much prefers interacting with our customers than with chemicals and molecules. Proof reading is her speciality with in the sales team.
Spencer WestUK Project Manager
Spencer’s 20 years in the Sign Industry includes projects for HSBC Bank, Greggs Bakery and Curry’s/PC World’s UK roll-outs, plus Center Parcs, Arsenal Stadium, Oxford City Council and City and Town Centre wayfinding schemes. Spencer can support from the initial client tender stage through to the satisfactory delivery of all products and installations. His broad experience within the industry provides our trade customers with the confidence that a project will be delivered to specification and on time.
Emily LarkinsFinance Manager
As Finance Manager with over 15 years’ experience, Emily oversees HR and all financial matters and reporting - and enjoys the resultant customer and supplier contact. Keen to team build, Emily is key when it comes to creating and leading social events for the staff.
Arthur MooreManaging Director
Arthur is our leader in chief but likes to take a hands-on role with customers and sales. He has spent most of his career customer facing and has over 25 years in the industry.
Sue BiddleProduction Director
Sue oversees the day to day manufacture of all products. She takes responsibility for production schedules. She also takes quality control measures to ensure you get a great product delivered on time.
Jeremy ReevesTechnical Director
Jeremy is responsible for how our products are designed and how they perform. He also runs our bespoke design service. His expertise and CAD skills are a great asset when a more unique solution is required.
